The Center for Biopharmaceuticals was fortunate enough to attract a very strong line up of speakers for a symposium focused on fluorescence-based approaches to study membrane proteins on November 28th 2016. Together with Hanne Poulsen (Aarhus), this meant bringing Teresa Giraldez (La Laguna, Spain), Chris Ahern (Iowa, US), Pancho Bezanilla (Chicago, US), Kevin Eggan (Harvard, US), Poul Nissen (Aarhus), Dimitrios Stamou (KU), Dirk Trauner (Munich, Germany) and Bill Zagotta (Washington, US) to Copenhagen.

A huge thank you to our sponsors for financial support, Ulla Jakobsen for invaluable help with the organisation and all speakers for making this a great day!

Importantly, there will be a 2017 edition of this event, which will feature a number of world-class speakers as part of a Novo Nordisk Foundation Symposium on November 16th 2017 - details to follow in the spring.
